Why choose Zanzibar as your next holiday destination?

It's Simple .....

Zanzibar is a short 3 or 4 hour flight from South Africa.

No visas are required for South African passport holders.

The island of Zanzibar has something for everyone. You can choose to explore the island and its culture or simply stay at the hotel and relax by the beach or pool.

About Zanzibar

Known as the Spice Island, Zanzibar is one of the best beach locations in East Africa. It is rich in culture and has an incredible history.

Zanzibar beaches are perfect for anyone who simply wants to enjoy a lazily beach vacation.

Best time to travel.

The best time to visit Zanzibar is from June to October during the cool, dry months. Another popular time to visit the island is from December to February when it's hot and dry. Zanzibar's rainy season is during March, April and May.

Tides and Swimming

  1. Far North is Nungwi. Guests love the beaches here as you avoid most of low tide's retreat when booking accommodation here.
  2. On the South, East and West of the island, when its low tide the water can recede for up to 1.5 km so little swimming will happen during this time however you can explore and see what the sea has left behind.
