  A standard package to Mauritius includes a seat in coach transfer to the hotel and back. What is important to note is that this transfer might not only be picking you and your family up but a group of visitors to the island which means that the transfer will make a stop at various hotels to drop clients off.

Why not upgrade your transfer to a private car transfer which will take you straight to your hotel.  There are a variety of different cars to choose from so if you want to travel in style, book a luxury car transfer.

Some of the hotels on the island have helipads so you could arrive by helicopter.
Separate luggage transfers can also be arranged for guests bringing excess luggage like golf bags, prams etc.
Car Hire is also available to book. 

  Mauritius packages usually come with  breakfast and dinner included. Some luxury five stars include breakfast only.
You can upgrade your meal options for a fee to include lunch, lunch and drinks or even purchase drinks packages. The packages differ per hotel. 

All-inclusive packages include your three meals a day plus drinks while bars are open. The inclusions of an All-inclusive package also differ between hotels with some hotels including mini bars, premium brands etc. while others not.
Not all restaurants are included in an all-inclusive package and some hotels you would still need to pay a supplement to dine in.

It is very important to note that all members of your family, group etc have to be on the same meal plan for the duration of your stay in Mauritius.  

  Accommodation options for families vary depending upon which hotel you are staying at. Most hotels allow 1 or two children under the age of 12 years to share the room with their parents. 

Hotels also offer inter-connecting, inter-leading or adjoining rooms. A great option is staying in Family rooms which comprise of two separate bedrooms.

Rooming allowances all depend on the size of the rooms or the age of the children. 

   Getting married in Mauritius is a dream come true. Most hotels have a wedding coordinator to assist you with all the arrangements for your special day.

You can choose to have an small intimate wedding or include all your family and friends. We will find the right hotel for you. What's great is hotels only allow for one wedding per day to ensure they are there for you throughout.

The hotels have wedding packages to chose from. These include your cake, photos, buttonholes, flowers etc. Should you have your own ideas of what you want, the hotels are happy to customise your requirements for you.

Remember that if you are legally getting married in Mauritius, You do need to be resident in Mauritius for 3 working days before the ceremony can take place for the legalities. There are a few documents that would need to be sent to the hotel at least 6 weeks before you arrive on the island and you would need to take the originals with you when you travel.

Don't want the fuss of legalities etc. ... No problem at all, You can get married before you depart and the hotel can assist with a renewal of vows.

Note that weddings and renewal of vows need to take place Monday to Friday and not on weekends or public holidays.

Mauritius has a number of courses to choose from and has in recent years won Golf Destination of the year in the Indian Ocean.

Most courses in Mauritius cost approximately Euros 170 for 18 holes including a golf cart however some hotels have agreements with courses at preferential rates. 

The top 5 ranking golf courses in Mauritius include Ile Aux Cerfs Golf Club, The Paradis Golf Club, Mont Choisy Le Golf, Avalon Golf and County Club and Heritage Golf Club.  

    Being healthy is top of mind for most people these days. Mauritius has a lot to offer for those concerned about keeping fit, eating healthy and rejuvenating.

Wellness packages are also on offer at a selected number of hotels. Here you can meet with a specialist from the hotel and they will design food and program for you during your stay.

Mauritius hotels are equipped with gyms or fitness centres and offer activities like yoga, spinning, weights, aqua aerobics etc.
If you are not into gym then visit the spa and enjoy a facial, full body massage, get your nails painted or your hair done.

Some hotels have options for vegans, vegetarians etc. Don't forget to advise of your dietary requirements before you get to the island so that the hotel can cater for your needs.
